Petite is a two-level European bistro and wine bar on East Street, with leather banquettes along the windows, a curved marble bar and a glass chandelier over the main room. It is a restaurant first, which is what makes it work for a group.
Take a booth, a long table through the main room, the private mezzanine, or the whole venue. Chef’s banquets are built for the table, and gluten free, vegetarian and vegan are handled as standard.

Petite runs across two levels on the corner of East and Ann. The mezzanine sits open above the main dining room, so a private group keeps its own space without being cut off from the buzz downstairs. You take as much of the building as the occasion needs, and no more.

Deep leather booths along the window line, set apart from the main floor without being closed off. The easiest way to give a small group its own corner of the room.

Groups through the main floor
We run long tables through the main dining room for larger groups who want the energy of a full restaurant rather than a room of their own. Your party has its own stretch of the floor while the restaurant carries on around it.
Best for milestone birthdays and work dinners that should not feel formal.
A dedicated private dining level
Our upstairs private dining space, with its own long table and a view back down over the restaurant. It was designed to stay connected to the room below, so your group gets genuine privacy and still feels like it is out somewhere.
Best for private dinners, corporate hosting and celebrations that want a door of their own.

Booking more than one at once is genuinely common here, whether that is drinks at Snack Man before dinner at Petite, or splitting a very large group across two rooms on the same night. Mention it in your enquiry and we will coordinate it.

Groups of 22 and under can book straight through our online booking system without going through this form. For anything larger than 22, or for any private or exclusive use of a space, send the enquiry form and we will come back to you within one to two business days.
It is its own level with its own table, up the stairs from the main floor, so your group is not sharing space with other diners. It was deliberately designed to stay open to the room below rather than being sealed off, so you keep the atmosphere of the restaurant. If you need a fully closed room with a door, exclusive use of the venue is the better fit and we will tell you so.
Groups eat banquet style. The kitchen designs each banquet around the table and what is good at the time rather than printing a fixed set menu, so you are not choosing from a list but you are also not getting the same meal as the group last week. Tell us about the table in your enquiry and the kitchen will work to it.
Yes, all of them. Because the banquet is built by the kitchen rather than pulled from a set menu, dietaries are handled as part of designing the meal instead of as a substitution on the night. Let us know the numbers and the requirements when you enquire.
Exclusive use is quoted per event rather than sold at a flat hire fee, because it depends on the date, the day of the week, the guest numbers and what you want from the kitchen and the wine list. Send through your date and numbers and you will get a real figure back, not a starting-from price.
